The Azarian Group, L.L.C. is a third generation privately held full service commercial real estate firm founded in 1970 that specializes in the management, leasing, acquisition, construction, insuring, and development of retail, office, and mixed-use properties.
By creating lasting relationships with its principals, tenants, communities, lenders, partners, and investors, The Azarian Group is able to apply an owner’s mentality to the assets under management delivering extraordinary value for its clients. The Azarian Group is well known in the shopping center industry as a collaborator with market participants and has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 1978. This business philosophy helps The Azarian Group team use its vast industry knowledge to create capital preservation and asset appreciation for the properties under management.

The Azarian Group focuses on its core business philosophy, of being a vertically integrated manager, as well as looking toward short and long-term industry trends to realize a property’s highest and best use. The business operates with the highest level of professionalism and core principles that have guided this strategy for the past 52 plus years. The Azarian Group’s long-term success relies on its intimate hands-on approach to the services it offers, which has been the key to its success over the last half-century.
Company History
The Azarian Group was founded by Barbara Azarian and grew rapidly through her son, John M. Azarian, Jr. Currently, James and John M. Azarian, III work in the family business alongside their parents, John M. Azarian, Jr. and Donna Azarian.
Since 1970, The Azarian Group has experienced controlled and steady growth. The Azarian Group currently represents, manages, and leases approximately 1,200,000 square feet of commercial real estate spread across 18 properties throughout New Jersey and New York, with approximately 350 tenants.
